If you have an account with us, we store your surname and first name, address data and your contact details (e-mail, telephone number, language[s] etc.). In the course of using our site, we also collect a large amount of data in various forms (e.g. PDF, photo, video and audio files (e.g. via Zoom), written communication contributions in the course of your studies at the Academy, etc.), which are stored automatically and in electronic form, e.g. in the course of exams (tests), practice assignments, writing and submission assignments, speaking assignments and communication in forums.
Comments
When visitors post comments on the website, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the user agent string (this identifies the browser) to help us recognise spam.
An anonymised string may be created from your email address (also called a hash) and passed to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media

In this sense, the above-mentioned contracting parties agree that MacAlbatros Educational Media & Services and the MacAlbatros Academy operated by it shall be granted all rights of every known reproduction and utilisation possibility. This applies in particular to the utilisation of the Academy member’s written products for research purposes or modified or unmodified in another medium (film, video, book, audio files, CD-ROMs and the like).
The Academy member shall be fully compensated for the rights of use granted by this contract through the perception and use of the offers of this website and shall not be further compensated with fees beyond this. This also applies in the event that the Academy member has purchased offerings from this website. For this reason, some of the offers on this website are available free of charge, at reduced prices or at very attractive fees. Should a dispute arise between the parties as to the appropriateness of the remuneration, they will refer the matter to an arbitration board.
