What (goals)?
Let’s practice German – learn together in a supportive and friendly community and thereby
→ develop your speaking fluency,
→ improve your listening comprehension and
→ expand your vocabulary.
What exactly can you expect? Deutsch Impromptu is not a classic German course where the content is planned and fixed. Each meeting is a “historically” unique event.
For example, we could read short texts and talk about them or about current events that were the topic of the media that week. Or you could report about your daily work, give short presentations on things and topics that interest you personally, talk about your worries in everyday life, difficulties and problems or about your wishes, dreams and successes.
I will collect the vocabulary of the respective session and make it available to you afterwards, so that you can use it in your vocabulary app, for example. I am open to further ideas, wishes and suggestions.
When?
We usually meet
→ Saturday afternoons (until December 17, 2022), at 2.00 p.m. CET/UTC+1 (until about 4.00 p.m.)
→ no meeting on 10/15, 11/12, 11/19 and 11/26, 2022.
Would you like to be reminded of the event? Sign up here for a email reminding you of the meeting (Didn’t receive an email? Maybe check your spam folder!):

Or:
→ Meeting ID: 762 0165 6483
→ Code: nq6VyD
The waiting room is open approximately five minutes before. Please make sure that the camera and microphone are working. You can get help here.
Notes:
→ If the situation should arise that I am alone in the Zoom room for more than 30 minutes waiting for people to come, I would end the session. But if someone sent me a message that they would come later, then I would, of course, continue to wait for him or her. I do hope you bear with me on that.
→ It is okay if you come later to the meeting or have to leave earlier. It should be a relaxed event and not stressful for you. Those who have time and want to come, come. If you don’t have time or don’t feel like it, don’t come. So there is no obligation to attend regularly. There is also no homework and no mere grammar lessons (maybe one or two exercises or a tip). And best of all, it costs nothing but your time.
Who? (Requirements)
→ Anyone with German at level B1+, B2, C1 or C2.
→ Willingness to speak and get involved
→ Enjoyment of German and nice people
I am looking forward to a little chat with you
